My Story

Ashley was born in Victoria. I rung her breeder and asked to have the biggest and friendliest blue female. He sent up to us this puppy who we named Ashley. When we picked up Ashley she was so beautiful. She spent her puppy days with another greyhound pup Holly at a lovely farm in Richmond NSW. She then started to learn to race and was very good. Ashley won 7 races and gave me the greatest thrills in greyhound racing. She was my first ever city class winner. When Ashley retired she had three litters of puppies. She was the best mother that anyone could ask for. Ashley spent her last few years on a farm enjoying running and playing. Her health was failing her in the past few weeks. We knew it was time and I was so happy to know that my voice and hugs calmed and soothed her in the final moments. I will never forget my baby and I have chosen to have her cremated so that she will always be with us no matter where we may go. Hope you are running free and happy now Ash;you will never be forgotten. Love Mummy and Daddy.
