Dear Emily:
You will be greatly missed by your family but never farther away than
our hearts. It has been my honor to care for you and share my life with
you since you were just 2 months old. We always admired your inde-
pendent spirit, intelligence and huge love of food! We were gifted and
very fortunate to have you in our lives for 14 years. Thru poor health,
you fought your way back to enjoy your life. Even the smallest things
like a cool fall breeze did not go unnoticed by you and brought you
great pleasure. You aged gracefully and taught me the most important
things in life are free. I cherished the last year I spent caring for you
and sharing in the finer pleasures of life like watching you basking in
the sun, sitting in your pool and snuggling your nose on the towel after
each meal to wipe off the wet. Everything you did was and is still a
special memory to me. You demanded respect and carried yourself
with dignity right up to the end no matter how sick. Your mom & Dad
will miss you badly but know we will meet again soon in heaven and
glad you can now go keep your sister, Annie Mae company until we
all meet again. Forever in our hearts;
Love always and forever,
Mom, Dad, Hillary Brittany and Byron
