My Story

Whippets in general are very warm and adoring animals. They love to run and Jem was no exception. He and Mikka used to run round in huge circles at full speed. Mikka was not one for retrieving but Jem would do it until the cows came home. One abiding memory of Jem is him looking up at me with those huge brown eyes having just dropped a tennis ball at my feet.

He was an affectionate and playful dog who never did anyone any harm and brought joy to all who knew him.

He will always be in my mind somewhere every minute of the day.
