Rosie's Story:
Most early Labradors were solid black, a small white spot on the chest is permissible. They may be more widely available when it comes to choosing a Labrador retriever dog. But not always.
Rosie was a great dog, we got her when she was a year old from a family member who couldn't take care of her anymore. She was our first dog we got when me and my brother were little, yeah we always had dogs, but Rosie was special, we got after a few years after our other dogs passed away.
She lived with us for 9 years and was a great mom when she 2 years old to 5 years old after that she went into retirement for another 4 years. But problems started to happen after she turned 7, getting older and weaker by the minute, she started to pose danger to the family, the dogs, and the other pets. She couldn't stay in family part of the house any more, she had to go live in the pet shop.
So we decided as family, through pain and broken hearts, maybe it time for Rosie to be laid to rest, it's not far to her or to us, and before something seriously happens to someone.
We loved Rosie, but maybe the hardest thing to say to a dog is probable goodby, and we'll miss you. She doesn't know what's happening but maybe she will know that she will be missed, and that she will be going to doggie heaven in peace and happiness.
We will miss you Rosie, and so will your daughter's Demon, and Sandy and your granddaughter Daisy Duke.
Love you forever, hope their lots of balls in heaven for you to chase and play with. It was your favourite sport to do everyday in rain, snow, or sunshine.
