In loving memory of our Samson who we love so much. Samson will be greatly missed and be in our hearts forever.
We got Samson from the Animal Shelter in March 1998 when our oldest daughter was 17 months old. He was a little ball of orange fur. He was a lab/chow mix. He was adorable. We soon discovered he had mange and began treatments. I pampered him like a baby. I researched vitamin treatments and took care of him. Soon his hair grew back and he was gorgeous. Samson soon began running around with our daughter and playing. He would pull her diaper down, it was funny. He would then slide down the slide with her at the playground. We walked Samson everyday and played with him all the time. As the years passed our family grew and we welcomed 2 more daughters. Samson loved each of them and was their protector. He never left there sides.
We also adopted 3 more dogs through the years. Another mix & 2 beagles. Samson & the beagles became best of friends. They loved each other.
We took Samson many places with our family. He was always my favorite. Samson began have difficulty walking & going up the stairs. Then the day came when he didn't want to get up and he didn't wag his tail at the sound of my voice. I knew he was ready to go home. I kissed him and told him it was ok to go home. We all let him know how much we loved him and he quietly passed away on New Years Eve 2009. He was 12 years old. We had a funeral for him & he was buried in our big back yard that he loved to run in with the girls. He was my best friend & I will miss him greatly. My heart is broken!
I love you Samson & always will. I hope you are running in heaven and pain free. I will see you again one day.
