She was 3 months old when she came into our lives. After being with us for 9 months, she began to get sick.
After a lot of testing we discovered she had Canine Lymphoma which was making her brain swell which was causing tremors.
~Our Choices~
1. Put her down
2. Give her the best quality of life we could now
3. treat the lymphoma
We went with option #2 as we did not have the heart to torture her for the treatment when the odds for recovery are extremely slim.
She was able to live another 9-10 months with us and she was very happy during this time. I am very grateful that I was able to spend this additional time with her and I treasured every single day as it was one more day I was able to see her smiling at me. One more day of her laying on my feet, laying on my lap, or nudging me while I was eating my cereal in the morning as to not forget she wanted some also..
As of today, it's been 8 long months and it still hurts every single day and I can't wait to see her once again as I know she is waiting for me on the Rainbow Bridge...
~~ I love you Baby Girl ~~
