My Story

Emma was found abandoned in the woods.  She was only 2 or 3 days old.  So we gave her the birthday of October 16, 2001.  Her eyes were not even open yet and still have part of her umbilical cord attached to her.  She went through so much in her life.  She fought parasites.  She was diagnosed with Kidney Failure in 2010.  And had allergeries to so many things but she was my special girl.  She went through alot with me.  She was always there for me when I was sick or hurting.  In November 2011 she was diagnosed with Bone Cancer.  I spent every minute with her I could In December I could see she was hurting more and more and wasn't acting like her normally spunky self.  She was limpy more and more.  I made the decision that I wouldn't let her suffer.  On January 14, 2012 she earned her wings and went to the Rainbow Bridge.  I held her and told her I loved her over and over again as she took her last breathe.
