Floyd was 3 months old when we first saw his cute little face, When we brought him home ,he discovered the special lady in his life(Snuggle).He and snuggles had 1 litter of puppies and he was a very devoted father to his babys,He would run back and forth to make sure nothing was wrong.
Floyd was very spoiled and was alway treated like a human, He always loved to lay around and just hang out.  But when it was time for supper and someone would call his name, he was there in a heart beat. His favorite foods were steak, liver, and mac & cheese.
He also loved to dance, I remember when we would turn music on and start dancing in the living room, floyd would dance on his 2 back feet, he always wanted someone to pick him up and dancewith him.
I guess you could call him a ladys man.
Floyd would sleep in the bed with anyone, he loved to be warm ,he would come in and get into the bed and crawl under the covers and he always made me laugh because he would lay on his back and let everything hang out.
Another thing that floyd liked to do was to jump in the shower with us.
He was always worrying about everything and everyone
Our beloved floyd would alway be the first one to start howling at the fire siren and the others would follow, He was the king and i kinda think he knew it.
The 3 other ladys of the family snuggles,ashley,and josie knew better then to crowd his food bowl while he was there,they waited their turn. I do remember when we would go to the bath room ,he was sitting right beside you to keep you company.
He also loved to interact with the 3 female canines in his life,His favorite thing to do was to sun bathe,yes he did love the sun.
Floyd had a very good life and was a inside dog, He was almost 15 years old when his kidneys failed him, It was so hard to make that one decision that no one wants to make because after all he was part of the family.
I remember the day he past away,I was holding him in my arms and he was hurting so bad, I  whispered in his ear and told him thanks for always being the one that i could talk to and my shoulder to cry on,and that he would always remain in everyones heart and mind and that he didn't have to worry anymore, I still remember the look in his eyes when  we were at the vet and i was holding him,when he looked up at me with the look of a well lived life in his eyes, i truely think he knew that it was his time.
So we said our goodbyes and god that was so hard, But i know in my heart that wewill see him again.
Floyd  was dearly loved  from all who knew him and we will always remember all the things that made us all laugh,smile, We will have his memory always in our hearts and minds.
He is in a better place now, I know he will meet us there welcoming us with open arms.
