~Bishops Biography written by his family~
Bishop was a male Siberian Husky who was born on 10/07/2002. We got Bishop when he was 6 weeks old as a companion for our other Siberian Husky, named Fabulous, who was a rescue dog. Bishop and Fabulous did everything together until Fabulous passed away from natural causes. Bishop was a very playful dog and loved to go on walks and play with the kids. Bishop was spoiled rotten, he had to have his bones everyday at the same time, if you forgot he would let you know by howling uncontrollably until you gave him his treat. He was also a very picky eater, he didn't like colors in his food, he would somehow manage to pick out the green and the reds that came in the dog food. He would also howl if you didn't comb him everyday, he would sit like a statue while I or Jennifer would comb his coat. We all miss Bishop very much, he was a huge part of our family and is greatly missed.

11/18/2013 was just a regular day in the life of Bishop's family. They reside in the lovely small town of Crawford, Texas. {former President Bush had a vacation ranch home here while he was in office}. That regular day became horrific when Matt Strahan discovered that their beautiful 11 year old Siberian Husky, Bishop, was taken from his locked backyard, shot, killed and dumped.
The brutality was inflicted on Bishop by three members of a family that live NEXT DOOR! The alleged suspects are an adult male and a teenage male; additionally the teenager's mother is alleged to have attempted to dispose of Bishops body.
"Alleged suspects" claim Bishop was at large and about to attack chickens. Despite witness statements proving otherwise. Multiple laws have been broken, including felony animal cruelty! To this date no witnesses have been interviewed by the Crawford Police Department.
CONFESSIONS & WITNESS ACCOUNTS have gone unanswered... There are currently NO arrests, despite being promised by the Crawford, Texas, mayor and other city council members that this would be investigated thoroughly and taken care of swiftly. Please join #teambishop and help spread the message that we demand law enforcement treat animal abusers seriously and that violence against our family pets WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! We are seeking arrests and prosecution.... Anything less than prosecution to the fullest exit of the law is UNACCEPTABLE!
