My Story

She was our little baby girl,  She went by many names...lol  She was kept inside and only went out to do her business...lol  She did love to go chase her brother and get him.  She would get sick, but always bounced back, but on 2/6/2009 I knew that with this sickness, there was no bouncing back.  So I brushed her coat and put her in the car for one more last ride.  She loved to go for rides with Lady, to look at Chritmas lights.  I would take them every year to look at Connie's house.  She would hang out the window and just look, like she knew what she was doing.  But this time she didn't even want to look out the window or tell me to roll it down, so she could hang her head out to let the breeze blow her beautiful fur.  She just laid on her bed and looked at me.  On that day,  I had to do the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life.  She was fighting to stay with us, but she was tired and sick.  She looked over at me when she was given the shot and her eyes opened real wide, I told her that her momma and daddy loved her, then the vet tech laid her down and she was already gone.   The vet couldn't believe how fast she went, so that let me know she was holding on for us.  She loved us just as much as we loved her.  We are lost with without her and don't know what to do.  We have other babies but none as special as her.   I talked to her everyday, ate with her, couldn't goto the bathroom without her...lol  She would even talked back to me.  If you don't believe me, ask my sister.  I was talking to her on the phone and she said "Who is that?"  and I said Kandi, she was wanting what I had to eat and was telling me to hurry up and get off the phone and give her some.  My sister said she sounded just like a baby...lol  That was what she was our baby and she knew she had us wrapped around her little paw.  She brought joy into our lives and we fell empty inside.  We will get her back on Friday, for she was not an outside dog and I couldn't bury her outside.  Some ppl just don't understand, but I guess they never had "Kandi" love (UNCONDITIONAL LOVE) and I hope one day they will for she gave us so much love.  Unconditional love, if I was having a bad day she knew, if I was sick, she knew.  She would just lay with me till I was better.  When I passed out not to long ago, she stayed by myside and when I came to, she was putting her cold nose to the side of my face, and she was "Talking" in her little voice.  But now she has to watch over me in another way, but I know she will.  Because she fought so hard to stay, even though she was so sick.  That's True Unconditional Love...
