I'm glad to hear you had a great birthday! ...but we're sorry to hear about Pearl. That was a very nice tribute you wrote about her.

I'm so sorry to hear about Pearl's passing. And I'm so glad I got to meet her when I visited you in Pasadena. I read about her life on the memorial web site and it sounds like she had the best life possible. You were a great companion to her.
