My Story

Black Jack was my best friend. He was Black (obliviously) with a white star and I loved him more then words can say. Still do. I Know he is in a good place but it will never stop me thinking how much it hurts having him gone.
Bj was a horse I rode at my Pony Club. We where the best buddies. It hadn't always been well for Bj. He was previously abused and was 28 so he was always going to have trouble fighting off illnesses. The abuser used to starve him, miss-treat him and things. He has never trusted anyone after. He did let you ride, brush him and act all normal but he wouldn't let himself get attached. That chenged with me.
I alwasy ALWAYS gave Bj big welcomes and he started to let his feelings show. At first he would always fuss when being ridden and then we strated to learn to work together. We were buddies. Then we became more then just buddies. I would always visit him, even on non-pony vlub days. I told him everything and he gave me his ear and ket me cry into his mane wehn things got to heavy. No-one understood why I loved him so much. He was always grumpy, fussy and not the best pony. But I understood him. He loved doing things for me and I loved doing things for him. It showed how much we worked together when we came first in our "Bets Pony Club Horse and Mount" class at our annual gymkhana.
This chenged when he passed away due to colic. He lost it all when he had only started to love and live his life. He has many peopple who love him but I was closest. I will never forget the last time we rode together. The bets time yet. Jumped higher and better then ever before. jhe made me who I am today and for that, i thank him
He will always be missed and loved and never forgotten. He was my Beach bum, my night in shining armour, my true friend and now my guardian angel.

RIP Bj. Your greedy guts wasy are missed truly. ♥
