My Story

Sammy came into our lives when we just lost our beloved max, we were or I was not ready for another little animal to come into my life. Sammy who his first name was junior had to find a home my ex sister in law was moving and could not have him, after many calls then finally came by and showed the little guy to me I said yes, I took one look at him and told him you do not look like no junior and Sammy came into my mind he loved it he ran around jumping and very excited and took to it right away. Anyways after a week with Sammy he had become very sick with Parvo so giving him a fighting chance took him home and did the iv's and medication it took Sammy a long time to recover and I didn't think he was going to make it but he proved everyone wrong he was a fighter. my family and I moved to Fort worth Texas and little Sammy never barked very quiet, then my mom came down for a visit and when sammy meant grandma he became a wild man, he barked and got all excited and played we couldn't believe it , he had changed into a WILD MAN!! Sammy loved it when my husband came home it was there time he would be so excited running and jumping like a kangaroo and when dinner came around he was right there waiting for a plate to lol. He was such a joy to all of us he was so special he loved us and protected us, he was like a old soul very gentle and knew when you need him my children loved him so much my daughter Brittney had such a wonderful bond with him, her little snooky she called him. He slept in the girls room his own bed and loved being under the blankets some times he would become lost he was only six inches long. We would look all over for him. Sammy he loved all animals his best friend was a cat name Dakota and our dog Charlie bear they would all sleep together, We always thought sammy would be with us until he was very old, but it was not to be so, when my husband comes home he always takes sammy out, the neighbors had a pittbull and they never fed it and never chain him up, after many attempts to talk to them and call to find out what we could do, nothing happen. The dog came running from its yard and Sammy right there next to the porch meant the monster that took his life my husband did all he could do, our precious Sammy lived only two days fighting for his life at 4:30 am he died right in between my husband and I where he knew he could be safe and where he could let go, our little baby in the world died. I can't tell you the heartache that we feel, he has been gone five weeks today feels like yesterday. He was one of a kind our little Sammy, he loved everyone and loved attention, he gave us a special gift the gift of pure love. when your little friend dies you realize how much they are part of your life and how much they brighten your day, We love you Sammy God has a special little dog to keep him company one of the last things I told Sammy when its my turn to meet Jesus I hope you be the second that I see, your mama and daddy and children love you so much and so does grandma for she loved him so much.
